I recently finished a run of Rimers of Eldritch here in Somerville; I played Cora. This was a wonderful group of people to work with, and I decided to put together a mix as closing night presents for everyone. Each character is represented by at least one song (although in many cases, the song is for several characters: so "Slap Her Down Again, Paw," is for the entire Johnson family, and "Burning Down the House" is for Josh, Driver, and Skelly). If you don't know the play, it's a beautiful piece of writing, and our director did an amazing job with it. Do not, under any circumstances, see the movie that was made in the 70s of the play. It is mind-bogglingly dreadful.
