For my first posting on 'Making Mixtapes' I thought I'd share once again my debut AotM posting, which I submitted back in september 2005.

The compilation was made in the January of 2004, and over 18 months later I still thought it strong enough to be my first posting on the newly discovered site.

It still remains one of, if not my very best mix CDs. Hope you enjoy..

I always liked that Who song despite what purists may say and you know I like that OTC tune. Welcome aboard, amigo mío.

Great stuff. The Chicago through Ramones stretch especially, though not exclusively.

Ah pop sweet pop! I wonder if I would have picked up on this in 2005 as I do now - Boogie on Reggae Sammy . . .

This is my first look at this mix, not having been around AOTM in 2005, and I can see why you thought enough of it to warrant a second look. Top-notch, especially the Easybeats and Ramones, being my two mostest favorites here.

Just like funky, I have never seen this before. Impressed as always, dear Sammy. I haven't listened to the Ramones in ages! Love the cover art!
